From time to time I come across other apps that I think are incredibly useful or relate/support the features of my own apps.  In some cases these are apps friends have built.  In some cases the people that made the apps have developed some form of professional interest or relationship with my own ventures.  At any rate, this list comprises several "top finds" and I hope you find them useful.

 My Registry

My Registry is simply the gift/wish list app for your iphone.  Using built-in barcode scanning technology, My Registry lets you turn the world into your personalized virtual department store.  Zap any item anywhere and add it to your gift registry at MyRegistry.com.  Other folks, using the app or the website, can then see what you've added to your gift list.  They can even buy it for you straight from the app!

Quick Reader

Quick reader is an excellent eReading app.  In addition to supporting all the core eReading features you'd expect, Quick Reader includes a "speed reading" mode to help you improve the pace of your reading.  Quick Reader has access to several free book catalogs, so you can download a wealth of material directly into the app for free.  It's a must have app and highly complementary to the book collection-oriented features offered by iBookshelf and My Library.
